The Shure Beta 87A is a super-cardioid handheld microphone that is highly durable suited for providing clear vocals within a noisy or reverberant environment.
The 87A has a controlled low-frequency roll-off which allows for less unwanted low end from getting too close to the microphone. The soft, dynamic frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz ensures an excellent speech and vocal reproduction, while ambient noise is kept to a minimum thanks to the super-cardioid pickup pattern.
